I would like to discuss a phrase, that when heard, should make you turn around and run the other way:<\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cAll you have to do is\u2026\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Although most can see the red flags this phrase raises, I have unfortunately seen individuals get into trouble time and time again, all because they have allowed another person to talk them into doing something.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, imagine that you are with an acquaintance, and they have in their possession a check that has been endorsed by another person. You go to the bank or the store, and they say to you, \u201cI have a really easy way for us to make some money. All you have to do is go in and cash this check, and when you come out we can split the money.\u201d If you are ever propositioned like this, the first question that you should ask yourself is, \u201cIf it is so easy, then why do they need me to do it?\u201d Why would this person involve you if it means splitting the money?<\/p>\n<p>While this situation might seem like an obvious one to avoid, I have seen this sort of thing play out many times over my career. Whereas you may have good enough judgement to walk away, I urge you to pass this advice along. Because while this advice may not be important for you to hear, it might be for your son, your daughter, your nephew, your cousin, or whoever you pass this along to. When you hear the words, \u201cAll you have to do&#8230;\u201d run the other way. I would also suggest that if you have a person in your life that would ask you to do something like that, you need to cut that person out immediately. Anyone who would put you in harm&#8217;s way like that does not have your best interests at heart.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I hope that this has been helpful.
